My analysis this morning I have been an investor since early on. Have over $750k invested. Have been reading the board for months and decided to jump in. my analysis of the news release and research into the various nucleopeptide protein (NP) testing is as follows.
Sona's benefit is in the fact that the golden nanorods produce a colored line when positive. No machine needed for detection. The other antigen tests produce a fluorescence reaction (light emitting) that requires a machine to read.
Also, Sona's advantage of focusing in on the spike proteins, rather than the generic nucleocapsid proteins make the detection possible before symptoms occur. All the other testing methods require symptoms in order to detect (you have to have enough virus for detection). If you use subjects who all have symptoms, then there really won't be much of an advantage to the Sona test compared to the others. Because there is so much more nucleocapsid protein when you have symptoms, it will be easier to detect. It could appear as though Sona is not as good, because the Sona test is detecting spike proteins - of which there are less. BUT...by testing spike proteins you can detect infection before symptoms. And you don't need a machine with Sona's colored nanorod test.
I hope this makes sense..once the regulatory bodies catch on, this test will be recognized for the breakthrough it is. Don't sell folks...we have a gem on our hands.
