RE:RE:Interesting!
And a well known radio commentator in B.C. was questioning the lack of use of Rapid Antigen tests. He referred to sports teams such as the Canucks using them on a daily basis yet the government for things like schools, etc. is not using them and he does not understand why.
He said that the Federal government had purchased and distributed to the provinces millions of rapid tests (probably the Abbott tests). He also suggested the B.C. quota is sitting in warehouses around the province because Dr. Bonnie and supposedly Adrian Dix(Minister of Health) do not think they do an adequate job.
I heard him make the comment on his show but I cannot verify the situation.
As he said "Which is better, having a test that is slightly below the "gold standard" results wise or to have no test at all."
Like the care home where one resident was tested because of a contact situation and on that basis they decided they should test everybody. 51 residents and 9 staff tested positive. Not sure how that ended up.
Great, eh!
