I just feel (As a front line doctor) that the argument is more academic. We don't need to prove COVID infection beyond a reasonable doubt. We just need to prove it on the balance of probabilities so we can treat the patient or recommend quarantine. Then it would be an immunological assay for COVID antibodies thereafter.
just my 2 cents. But yes, there are flaws in PCR, so buy SONA's test dammit! Haha
