Took over 6 months

Took 6 months to get where we are today thank God I bought it pre $0.60. I would never investigates prices it's going to take another six months before they actually have their production sent out to their first customer. Lots of time for better entry prices

Who are you trying to kid here ... where did you get 6 months before shipments?  Are you kidding.. they have had 2 mfg sites set and ready to go... they were waiting for validation to proceed with actual manufacturing.. ..Do you think they would wait until FDA approval "which is a given" before getting mfg up and running.  I bet we see a Sona Test out there within 4-6 wks ...more

Patience I know it is all a play with words but when you say there is lots of time for better entry prices are you suggesting the price will likely drop considerably from these levels between $8 and $9.? I know my broker was phoning me first thing this morning saying why aren't you selling - you can buy back later. I said I already took my initial profit and now I'm just riding. He thinks ...more

I think you're broker could have a legitimate point..? Now what concerns me is... for arguements sake lets say the test stays at 96% sensitivity... and a bunch of people get tested as positive (with no symptoms) what's going to happen when all of these asymptomatic people are told to go home, and what happens if they quarantine, but after 2 weeks still have positive results, but never ...more

I think what's equally important is companies working on treatments or vaccines which will change the dynamics of this market in a hurry...!
Comment by whatdoiknow123 on Jul 09, 2020 1:22pm
Why do you think that the dynamics will change in a hurry? As I see it: 1. Treatments, if any are truly effective, will only help those seriously ill and will, hopefully , save lives and lessen the effects of the virus causing less damage to vital organs eg. lungs etc. What they will never do is decrease the incidence of the virus or the need for those affected to be isolated and so will not, in ...more

And with that being said, if there's any truth to it, it kind of makes getting tested even a mute point..! If you're not going to take the vaccine why worry about getting the test?
Comment by whatdoiknow123 on Jul 09, 2020 1:37pm
The  rationale for testing is not simply as a tool to decide who needs a, as yet non-existent test, but as a necessity to screen the population so that the world can continue to function whether it be the economy, school attendance, sports events, travel etc.etc.etc. Testing will be with us for a long time yet and just wait for the winter season when millions will want to know if they have ...more

sorry should have read " as yet non-existent vaccine"
Comment by MilanoBiscuits on Jul 09, 2020 12:53pm
a vaccine is useless if you dont know who needs it! my wife just beat stage 4 f87king cancer and is in remission for just over a year now. You better believe that people who are asymtomatic need to stay home or people with autoimmune disorders dont have a fighting chance. For the greater good people need to accept that these issues are here to stay with us for awhile period end of story.
Comment by Moemoney42 on Jul 09, 2020 1:01pm
Sorry to hear about you're wife's issues, but it would be smarter for the economy if people with compromised immune systems would stay home otherwise we'll all be on welfare..! As theres already talk of herd immunity taking its course... so unless you want the whole population at some point to stay home.. good luck with that approach..

catch 22
Comment by Hightide22 on Jul 09, 2020 1:10pm
Most business are going on line and allowing workers to work from home, those who can. For all others that need to be on site a test is needed, vaccine available or not, to know if they are carrying the virus. And not all are going to take the vaccine but would rather be tested first.   This test works and it’s not IF but WHEN we go higher with all that is in the pipeline.  To bring the ...more

salute! well said signore!

The quickest vaccine ever made took 4 years, all these trials you see in the news mean squat because most fail in stage 3. What they may do is approve something that is 20% effective which in my opinion is worse than nothing because it would give the other 80% faults hope. What till it's in black and white before you believe in a vaccine.
Comment by Moemoney42 on Jul 09, 2020 1:21pm
Excuse me... there's already treatments that are highly effective...!! Maybe not a vaccine but effective non the less..! Stem cell treatment is one that comes to mind right now..!
Comment by Moemoney42 on Jul 09, 2020 1:06pm
And with that being said.. a more accurate PCR test would be more applicable if vaccines or treatments are in the works so people (40,000 out of 1,000,000 = 96%) don't get misread by a test..!
