Is this not an overreaction due to impatience?

Can someone please explain today's movement to me, what happened today doesn't make sense. There were no material changes with the company at all. Obviously any kind of delay or pushout is negative news but does that really warrant a 40% drop especially if it's not due to negligence or underperformance on the part of the company? FDA released new evaluation protocols so Sona has to make adjustments - I do not understand why that would cause a drop so dramatic.

Key thing here is patience now. The fact is they have to most accurate antigen test on the market and have been taking all the right steps to bring it to market. Holding on to my shares and may even look to add more at open, 2 weeks is not a long time to wait at all...

INSTITUTION SHORTS. NEXT. QUESTION.
Comment by Aarman4 on Aug 06, 2020 6:56pm
Well, to answer your question, short term stock prices are determined by buyers and sellers, not company performance. It appears to me that the group that a large amount of those sellers no longer were willing to wait 2 more weeks, or could not read the news report properly(It was worded in VERY POOR language). Good news can push a stock price up, bad news can push it down, but fear of the ...more

The market will consistently punish impatience. If there is no material change this will merely be a buying opportunity. With the incredible growth of this stock i understand some profit taking but i need to to soothe my ego or my wallet everytime my stocks go up a couple dollars. This is a real company with a very high barrier to entry and in an absolute hot spot in the market-nother 15% down and ...more

I don't think it's difficult to understand what happened today. The people who sold were the weak ones. As you stated in your post, the nervous tension from the report not being published on Tuesday just kept on building and got the better of them today. Its unbelievable how so many stampeded to the exits because of a benign news release of a 2 week delay to the field study was published ...more

THEE ROOK, Stop trying to MANUPILATE. 1.The  SONA MRI results were perfectly acceptable to FDA ( by a significant margin). They are now simply asking for supplementary In-Field testing 2.Quidel did NOT have 96.7% SENSITIVITY in the submission to FDA but 84% 3.The new testing standards  are more complicated but Sona should have no problem in meeting them. Quidel and BD(  who have ...more

The pumpers, yes, they are around and just like day follows night, you will here from them in full force when the price goes up. What I can tell you is this: don't take this board too seriously. Maybe 5% at most of Sona's investors look at this board. It has next to no impact SP.

Again, where is your proof that TORR sold their 1.4m shares.  Either you have (illegal) inside information or you are fabricating statements, which would tend to support that you're shorting the stock.   Also, you state that SONA failed the negative FDA test standards.  Can you elaborate as I can't find evidence of that.
Comment by Mariolanglis on Aug 06, 2020 11:47pm
THERE IS NO EVIDENCE, THESE GUYS ARE SHORTERS TRYING TO INFLUENCE SHARE PRICE AND PROFIT.
