DD Findings

Evening Fellow Investors,

I stumbled on this stock today via a screener and grabbed some on a whim.  I then decided to do some DD before adding to my position.  Part of my DD led me to this forum so here I am.

Some things I find odd is that this company's roots are in the mineral exploration space and they have since pivoted into the health science sector.  Since doing so they have launched products under the name Gemini and Omni but the last three years audited financial statements show $0 revenue.

Another thing that jumped out was the size of the company and corporate structure.  I have some experience/exposure in the bio sector space mainly in the area of test and measurement in the realm of point of care testing and I can attest that it takes a team of more than 10 to bring product of this scope to market.  Also acquiring the talent to do so will typically costs more than a total of 468K in annual compensation.  This information is found within the interim financial statements dated Jan 31 2020.   The head count information is found within their Annual Information form dated Mar 18 2020.  Also, along the lines of corporate structure is the address in which they operate.  They operate within the same walls as Brigus Capital Inc.  Brigus Capital happens to be the largest external holder of equity with a 4.83% stake (16.6M).  That struck me as somewhat odd.

The R&D campus in which they operate within named Inovocorp is an early stage VC company, which has a number of companies within it.

Hope other people who have some DD can shed some light on this stuff.  I want to add to my position but like I mentioned earlier this might be a wait for the news and not the rumor type stock.

Having a chat with yourself? What did you learn from that DD. You've stated before that you've done your own DD.

The board is filling up this morning with random nonsense, unrelated to Sona, by posters who just joined Stockhouse. It is crystal clear, that they are here to distract investors (either shorters or people who are trying to manipulate the stock price) because they know the price is likely going up today. We need to keep posting positive messages with Sona facts to keep this board under control ...more

Looks like you just joined yourself so not sure why you feel threatened by new members.  Odd that you only talk about SONA.  Does HFX stand for Halifax by chance.....you know the city in which SONA operates.  Call me a dumper.....I call you a pumber.

LOL.....nice conspiricy theory.  I have done some reading on the company but not to the level this person did.  Like I said in the past I don't advocate selling your position if you are holding and I do not hold a short position.....but would have been a nice take if I had.

This sure is a pasionate fourm.  To answer your question I did not do much more reading on the company.  I do have an inquiry into their investor relations regarding the vesting period for options that have been granted.  I did see one director sell some vested shares but no further selling, but also no insider purchases either. Hoping this thing takes off.  Would be a good ...more
