Well, it's not really great news for SONA though is it? In fact given they failed to achieved HC approval for their swab test, and they have simply mentioned the possibility of a saliva test, I'd say this story is pretty much irrelevant to SONA.

I'm allowed to respond to posts here, just like you are Yong. So when I saw Dart's excitable post about the one-man band distributors and the saliva testing story (which had nothing whatsoever to do with SONA) I felt a comment to provide a bit of balance was appropriate. Hopefully Dart will be back to prove me wrong, and make me realize that these guys will sell millions of unvalidated

Hey, Mikey. It s the only time I agree with you about you and me are same, allowed to post here. But only this point. But how can you make that sure Sona cannot achieve the Saliva testing approval!!?? I say Sona management is very good team, they will get approval.

I am 100% certain they will never get a saliva test to market. Having worked in this sector for many years, I know first hand that saliva is a notoriously difficult sample to develop into a LFA format. It's highly unlikely they will be able to reach adequate levels of sensitivity. And obviously their track record is poor - they have failed to get regulatory approval for their nasal swab test.
