I have been thinking for a few days if I should come out here and share this, and today I decided that I would appreciate it if someone on here did this and I was able to read it and get some kind of assurance as to the state of my investment. So here it goes.
Saturday I got to speak with Arup Sen on the phone. The conversation lasted an hour. I will not share every detail with members because I worked for the opportunity to speak with him and I’m not going just give everything I learned up for nothing. But I want to answer the most pressing question for all of you.
The JV is ON. The co-packers are ready. Everything is ready to go. But here’s the problem. Health Canada will not go out to the co-packer sites for a physical inspection, due to COVID-19. Because of this, we are literally at the mercy of HC. Arup is very upset about this, but there is nothing he can do to get them off their asses and make them finish the inspection.
He cannot and will not make statements like this because he can only speculate as to when they may get to the facilities and inspect them. They have 2 they will use.
I will just say this. After talking to him he understands that investor can handle bad news, they just can’t handle no news. So we will see how much we get in the future.
There absolutely will be beverages on the shelves as soon as these facilities are licensed. Follow HC and if you live up there give us all updates as to what you learn. If they can dawn a mask to go grocery shopping after work, they sure as Hell should be able to dawn a mask and go inspect these facilities. We are all paying for their COVID over reaction!
Socal, have you had any response in regard to contact with Sen?
Hailmarry, would you happen to be Bob and have now participated in two conversations with Sen?
If Sen is actually fielding calls and not changing his contact number, I could interpret this as potentially a good sign. JMO.
