RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:i loaded heavyBTT, I completely disagree in your comment that limit thresholds would also have to be implace for the upside as well. Shorting involves the loaning/borrowing of shares from anothers account. So, when stock is borrowed even for a day I contend shorting threshholds do make a helluva allot of sense for these vulnerable juniors! Large cap stocks are not really an issue.
There is a fundemental distinction between shorting versus buying. When I buy stock the funds are already in place to complete the transaction, so there is no artificial market and hence no need for upside thresholds. Daily shorting creates an artificial market!!!
