RE:Cannabis Tax Revenues

RE:Cannabis Tax Revenues
USOB4EVER wrote: Loss of tobacco tax revenues is a concern for many States if there is a ban. But, as more states legalize cannabis, cannabis tax revenues could potentially recover the money lost by banning certain types of tobacco! It's a logical argument.

The only Cannabis that has the potential to replace the loss of tobacco tax revenues is Marijuana Cannabis not Hemp Cannabis.  The smoking of Marijuana is growing rapidly.  The smoking of Hemp that has been artifically flavored to mimic tobacco cigarette smoking is not growing quickly as we know from the recent TAAT financial statements that shows average quarterly revenue declined in Q1 and Q2 of 2022 compared to the average quarterly revenue in 2021.

TAAT is a fake "Taste-alike" cigarette but it still has the same cancer causing carcinogens that are found in tobacco cigarette smoke without the addition to nicotine that causes many people to smoke tobacco cigarettes.

Hemp Cannabis tax revenues are not going to replace the tax revenues losses from a possible decline in tobacco smoking for a long time if ever.

Dream on.  Hemp smoking is not going to replace tobacco cigarette smoking anytime soon.  TAAT is a novelty product that says "Try it once and done."
