You've got that backwards. If the shorts have covered then they have 'cashed in' and are waiting for another attack. If they were still holding their short positions then their 'short-covering' would add gas to the fire on the next leg up. Right now they're waiting for another wave of FOMO's to rush in so they can feed on them. And I hope they try..and here's

. Isn't that exactly what I said. They're waiting for the next gap up. Next hike in price to go short again, covering in the $3 range say sold short from 3.8 and up and rebuy the shares in the 2.75 - current levels would mean a positive thing in my books. Meaning they don't believe the stock is going to drop further.
