"Earn-In Co. Starts to Drill U3O8 Deposit"
"What we like about the project and found so compelling is to have our market cap where it's at and to be able to earn into the majority of a deposit," said Klenman. "An asset that eventually backs your valuation is critical."
Building on a Historical Resource
With the potential to increase the deposit grade and size, South Falcon boasts a historical resource with 7 million pounds of uranium delineated with above-average grade and lies just outside the Athabasca Basin.
Consisting of ~1,500m of drilling, the main priority of TCEC's phase one drill program is to confirm and expand the existing mineralization associated with the Fraser Lakes Deposit in preparation for an updated current resource estimate and 3D model.
"To improve our confidence of how the mineralization looks", TCEC's initial objective with drilling at Fraser Lakes is to twin the holes having the best mineralization historically.
TCEC will additionally be targeting regional exploration as a secondary priority in following up on promising anomalies to add mineralized zones and deposits along the folded structural package that hosts the deposit.
Notably, previous drilling undertaken by Skyharbour Resources, saw an almost 500% increase over the grade of the deposit, demonstrating that "there's higher grade material within this deposit and potentially elsewhere on the project ground".
As the current mineralization is open in all directions, significant resource expansion potential remains at the deposit.
