Today, Tisdale Clean Energy Corp. (Ticker: TCEC.v or TCEFF for US investors) announced the successful completion of the first two drill holes at the South Falcon East Uranium Project, situated in the esteemed Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The venture signifies a significant milestone for Tisdale as it marks the commencement of its phase one diamond drill program.
The South Falcon East Project, sprawling across 12,464 hectares, lies just 18km outside of the renowned Athabasca Basin, strategically positioned approximately 50 km east of the Key Lake uranium mill and former mine.
The South Falcon East Project boasts high potential with a historic mineral resource of 6.9 Mlbs U3O8 inferred.

The initial phase of the 2024 program aimed to complete up to 1500m of drilling across two phases, primarily focusing on the confirmation of existing mineralization. The subsequent drill programs are poised to facilitate the expansion of the Fraser Lake B deposit, along with probing into multiple high-priority exploration targets within the South Falcon East domain.
Phase one culminated in the drilling of 442m in the first two boreholes. The first hole intersected multiple zones of uranium mineralization spanning over 13.5m. Notable highlights from this endeavor include a 0.03% eU3O8 over 4.1 m, including 0.11% eU3O8 over 0.2 m, showcasing promising signs of mineralization continuity within the vicinity of a historical hole.
The second hole, targeted to ascertain an extension of the mineralization in the historical hole, unearthed several zones of mineralization below 132m. Noteworthy findings include 0.02% U3O8 over 1.3 m, including 0.05% eU3O8 over 0.1m.
Alex Klenman, CEO of Tisdale Clean Energy stated, "We’re pleased to see uranium values comparable to the grades of the known resource in the first two drill holes completed on the property in nearly a decade."
Trevor Perkins, Consulting Geologist for Tisdale, echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the significance of confirming existing mineralization as a crucial step towards expanding the Fraser Lakes B Uranium Deposit.
Samples from the mineralized intervals within the drill core have been collected and dispatched for analysis.
The fruition of these two drill holes not only confirms the presence of mineralized pegmatites and pelitic paragneiss within the deposit and project area but also sets the stage for further exploration endeavors. With drilling set to resume later this spring, Tisdale Clean Energy Corp. is poised to unravel more mineralization within the South Falcon East Project.
