Week Summary: November 4th to November 6th conducting fishing* operations to remove wireline and other things (fish) from the borehole. Recovered 330 metres of 3/16” wireline. November 7th to November 8th continue to try to recover fish, but no luck. November 9th, conduct operations to push packer and fish past the proposed new perforation zones.
Further Activities: - Push packer past proposed perforation zones
- Perforate new gas zones, test, and turn over to production operator
*Fish is the term used to describe anything that is lost in the well borehole, in Akcakoca-3 there is potential about 1600 metres of 3/16” wireline, plus other attachments at the bottom of the wireline. The bottom material is at the base of the well so would not interfere with the perforation operations. The wire line is called the fish and trying to remove it from the borehole is called fishing.
