No one considers the infrastructure reguired and energy consumed in suppling the ice automotive sector. The waste generated by ice vehicles ; oil , belts spark plugs, o2 sensors, exhaust systems and on and on etc etc. I was involved in the waste lubricant business at the highest level in Western Canada and trying to deal with the toxic cocktail even using best practices still leaves a lot to be desired. The contaminated water recovered during waste oil processing is not properly treated prior to disposal. That's ok by you as you are not in the know nor not likely to care. It's funny how people who support the oil and gas sector whitewash the industry as clean and point to mining of lithium and cobalt as destroying the world. My god man open your eyes. We are in the infancy of the ev revolution in time new materials anc technologies will refuce the dependency on rare earth elements etc. where I will agree with you is the world will still be largely dependent on oil and gas for the next few decades while small scale nuclear energy is perfected I drive electric vehicles powered by hydro and sleep fine 120k kms and have only changed tires created no additional waste . The support industry to keep ice vehicles on the road is enormous and tremendous user of hydrocarbons. I could write a dissertation on the subject but I'll try and stick to discussing TCF just can't let someone spout off their spin without presenting a countering factual balance perspective to the board
