To be fair, iiroc regulates brokers. Their big hammer is to revoke a brokers license or even the entire firm. Imagine the heads rolling if iiroc were to pull the license for , JUST an example, Canaccord to trade anything. Iiroc doesn't have any weapons to bear upon the greasy weasels like private equity hedge funds etc. please rant at bcsc. They are the useless, gutless, sniveling servants that enable our abuse.
