It's Not The Artic Bro . Black Sea Temps Winter

In winter, water temperature ranges from 31 °F (−0.5 °C) in the northwest to about 48 to 50 °F (9 to 10 °C) in the southeast. The winter cooling forms an upper mixed layer extending to depths of about 160 to 330 feet (50 to 100 metres), with temperatures at the lower boundary of about 44 to 46 °F (6.5 to 8 °C).

never heard of freezing in the black sea. Fishing boats run all through the winter  to catch anchovies there. been there many times.

take your ice fishing gear next time you go The temperature of the northern part of the Black Sea averages about -3°C in January, but it occasionally falls as low as -30°C. The coastal waters freeze up for a month or more, while the shallow bays, river mouths, and limans freeze up for two to three months.

also....... Black Sea freezing is observed regularly in the northern part and near the Kerch Straits and occasionally spread during cold winters to south reaching Romanian coast

I was speaking of my personal experiences over many years in Turkey. The platform is quite close to shore , I am sure there will be an issue from freezing .  I won't comment anything else.

Correction there won't be an issue

A quick look at a map of the Black Sea shows us the SASB field is on the very South rim of the Black Sea about 200 miles East and a little North of Istanbul, just offshore from Alapli and Eregli.  It's certainly conceivable that a very cold winter could cause freezing along that South shoreline.   But I think the weather is the very least of any potential problems.
