RE:Thoughts on interview

RE:Thoughts on interviewI also had a hard time digesting exactly what I was hearing on this interview!

However, if I put into context a couple of items that both Jeff M and the interviewer were aware of, but were not highlighted into detail to the audience, then this interview passes the smell test.

Firstly, this interview was apparently a follow-up to an interview held between both parties last November.

There seems to be more focus as to what has changed with Jeff M as opposed to what has changed with Tinley's.

Last November, Jeff M was CEO of Tinley Beverages. He is now described as CEO Becketts Canada.

Richard G has retained his title of President- Western USA. I would assume that as Tilneys begin expanding beyond California, that his title will not be limited to Western USA.

Going back to my surmise that this interview had more relevance to the changes directly related to Jeff M, then it seems logical that as Jeff being the CEO of Becketts, that he would want to elaborate on his new role and products involved.

If this interview was to follow the above script, then they were successful in achieving their goals. However, this interview was wanting in the promotion of all aspects of Tinley's and therefore disappointing.

Finally got a chance to listen to the interview, what stood out most to me (aside from the interviewer's monotone voice) was the length at which Jeff tried to distance himself from Tinley and only talk about Beckett's. I get that is where they see the growth but man it was as if he basically did not want to even mention it. "A group in California licensing the flavours for their infused drinks " it really sounded like he was talking about the family member he was ashamed of.

Also I'm a little confused as to his role vs of Rick's. is Rick taking over all operations in California?

As far as where we are, sounds like commissioning is still ongoing. Still in "talks" with Canadian partners but they will be doing both infused and non infused which would lead me to believe they would need to be on the bigger side. However I would think to meet the Beckett's showing up in Canada in August we would need to have heard something already, no?
