RE:TSXV Research just covered Tocvan - worth AT LEAST $1.53!!GregL80.... I have been in TOC for some time now, this report is a good review of the assets. I was attracted to this company for the following reasons, 1) excellent share structure of about 9M shares before the last financing, 2) their rationale for selected this property from over 100 properties they evaluated, and 3) the owners have skin in the game owning about 15% of the stock. In addition, trading over the last few months have consolidated the stock into good hands in the background who know what is going on.
They have applied for drilling permits and conducted an CSMAT survey which identified a subvertical pipe-lie feature that may represent a breccia feeder pipe, to me this is very exciting. The validation of this report in my opinion will be when they drill these new structures. Todate there has been over 17,000 metres of drilling and the CSMAT survey just completed ties all of these drill holes together and excitingly leads to the identification of a superior structure that is yet to be drilled. If they hit, TOC shareholders are going to make a lot of money. The area is one of the hottest gold mining districts in Mexico...
Several significant conclusions from the joint effort of these geophysical, geochemical and structural specialists were made. One significant conclusion is the interpretation of a subvertical pipe-like feature that may represent a breccia feeder pipe related to epithermal mineralization. The pipe is about 100 metres in diameter, oval-shaped and has a steep plunge (about 70 degrees) to south-southwest with a 195-degree azimuth, and the pipe location appears to be controlled by a fold nose, based on interpreted basement folding. In relation to the epithermal model, breccia pipes are a significant feature and can hold bonanza grades (greater than one ounce per ton) of gold and silver. The pipes may extend from fissure veins that are known to contain significant grades of gold and silver in other epithermal deposits.
