I myself will be holding cash for awhile but will scale in at .25 slower than my plan now and maybe lower if possible  no catalysts for the overall market. Sky rocketing cases and lockdowns mixed woth a “new” strain. biden will go full lockdown.  Ya no thanks this looks dark.  Also all the relentless pumpers on yahoo and SH all weekend not shutting up about some cnn interview

The real affects of the whole lockdown will be people not getting together over the holidays, which normally translates into talking about hot stocks/sectors.  Leading to a january rally.  We're going to miss out on that this year.

InvestABCs,  Averaging up is how you can do really well. some of my very biggest gains by far were when I did that.   dollar cost averaging down is typically not the best strategy, it definitely works sometimes, but the times it doesn't work can create big loss.

BCProud250,  The shorts were super smart here (providing they also cover at the right time and don't get too greedy) and I don't blame them at all.   Obviously hthey were helped by the big market turndown today.  Just curious if you are also short?  I really don't care if you are, I have zero beef with shorts or day/swing traders.  I'm just wondering
