I would say that a buyout is the biggest concern for existing shareholders. You're bang on about the valuation used if such an offer is made, even with a huge premium. We're kind of a sitting duck for any larger players. All the existing shareholders would get screwed.
If I were Trulieve, I would be licking my chops at being able to gobble up a small competior on the cheap, also getting a toe hold into the West Coast market, without having to build from the ground up. We might be too small potatoes for the likes of them, but they wouldn't have to shell out much money to get us.
Someone else posted that insiders hold 40% of shares. I hope that's true. Personally, I would reject any buyout offer at this point.
I disagree that VIBE is VCAN 2.0. At least here we have actual earnings with management that doesn't needlessly pump and make baseless pie-in-the-sky claims.
