BIG's Discovery Paves the Way for ZEUS' Cuddy Mountain Proj. In Idaho, Hercules Silver (Ticker: BIG.v) recently unveiled the discovery of the Leviathan Copper Porphyry sparking a staking frenzy in the area and a keen interest among investors, notably from Barrick Gold (Ticker: GOLD Mcap = $28.9B ), which committed a strategic investment of $23 million.
Adjacent to BIG's Project, just 1km away, lies the Cuddy Mountain Project of Zeus North America Mining (Ticker: ZEUS.c or ZUUZF for US investors), positioned advantageously to capitalize on the escalating activity and burgeoning stakeholder interest in the vicinity.
Historical records indicate promising mineralization at Cuddy Mountain's historical Lead Zone Mine, Edna May Mine and Rockslide area.
The Lead Zone Mine, historically a small-scale Silver/Lead operation, yielded an average of 3.5 oz/t silver from 1950 to 1952. In 1977, seven shallow drill holes revealed anomalous lead and silver concentrations. Notably, one drill hole revealed 90 feet of 2.02 oz/t Ag.
The Edna May Mine boasts a mineralized vein, evidenced by chip samples containing 750 ppm lead, 7.7% zinc, and 252 ppm silver over a span of 4 feet. Further exploration in 1979 via underground drilling unveiled 1.38 oz/t Ag over 7 feet within a breccia zone.
In the Rockslide area, distinct malachite-stained outcrops were observed in the 70's, with a grab sample indicating 760 ppm lead, 0.67% zinc, and 36 ppm silver.
In the coming month, ZEUS intends to conduct a 3D induced polarization survey at Cuddy Mountain, followed by comprehensive mapping, ground magnetics, and rock grab & soil sampling throughout the summer.
Simultaneously, BIG is gearing up for an extensive drilling campaign at its site, the outcome of which could significantly benefit the Cuddy Mountain Project and ZEUS.
