Not as far as I'm aware. The dates only had to do with voting rights but regardless, assuming the shareholders vote yes, then everyone gets all their MPX converted and everyone receives .1 MPXi share for every MPX share purchased up to the closing date of the merger.
Correct me if im wrong. My understanding is that upon the CLOSE of the deal with MPX and Ianthus that might be January 30th is when share holders on record for that day Jan 30th will recieve the merger deal of .673 of IAN for every share held of MPX. The part that I dont get is the .1 being 10% shares in the new stock MPXI witch will be focused on the over seas markets.Will the shares in MPX still exist i thought maybe there would be 3 symbols that make up the one company is that correct ? MPX focused on Canada,MPXI EU and Austrailia , and IAN focused on the USA. Yes No ? or is it just 2 tickers MPXI and IAN and MPX gets desolved at a 30% premium? Can some one tell me if I got this correct and what part of it fully haha
