SHARE PRICE

The latest news sounds great but is not reflected in the share price! Does anyone on this board have any idea as to why this is? The price of gold should not matter that much.

The mining fundamentals for CFO are not very good: low grade for a refractory gold ore; very high ore/waste ratio.  For most of mines, in the 2 to 3 range.    Osisko evaluated this ratio at 8.9 for Beattie mine .  In the last PEA, they took  5,5. A refractory gold ore needs a costly mill to achieve recovery in the 90% range.  Predicted mill operating cost ...more

 All of your arguments have been answered. Though it is nice that you bring these issues up again as it does promote dialogue. Independent studies have shown the project to be economic. No its not perfect; no mine is. I guess a perfect mine would be a 12x12x12 cube of gold sitting on top of the ground somewhere next to London England. Forum has to be an open dialogue as you said.  But trial to discredit opinions without facts is unhelpful for forum participants.  I could say that you are probably a major share holder of CFO, even a person related to CFO management but I don’t want to play this game. The facts are that CFO shares have lost 37% since the PEA disclosure.  The market value of CFO is now at 22 $M ...more

Clifton has suffered from a triple waterfall decline, to use Donald Coxe's phrase. First, when Osisko pulled out there was a sell off. Second, the cease trade order precipitated another sell off.
