45 retail opportunities sounds great, but when it comes to building costs (whether it’s new builds or renovations), $20 million is nothing.
I’m iguessing each location could cost up to $5 million, once you’re done with the local permitting, architecture, design, labor, inventory, security, digital infrastructure, cosmetics, staffing, insurance)..
This low number worries me for many reasons. One being, it’s not enough.. and two being, ACB can’t afford anything else.
If it cost $5M to put up a store in an existing retail property we wouldn't have liquior stores every 2 blocks in Alberta. How many squishies should Apu need to sell just to pay the interest on that loan?
