What's wrong with people

What's wrong with people OK stock market up today 200+ points but CIBC down $1.20 notwithstanding it''s a solid company with a great vdividend. Yet people continue thesell. What';s wrong with them. Oh! I know widows and widowers who have little knowledge of teh market listening to their inept investment advisors who buy and sell in this market just to make their commission and to heck with the individual investor. In addition I think the USA and Canadian markets should band "Short-Selling". If you don't actually own the stock in your portfolio then you should not be allowed to sell it. I'll hold on through this "Bear " market as I'm confident things will improve over time. In the interim I'll collect my dividends.
