RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I think good news is coming
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I think good news is comingI am finding the whole CC industry a little weird, right now. It seems to be an industry largely without any willing customers! I've read that we need thousands of CC facilitites to curb our emissions yet it doesn't seem like large emitters are interested. For what it's worth, I don't have high hopes for the carbon capture industry in 2018. I don't see things really kicking into high gear for anywhere from 2 to 5 years but I'm not an expert, this is just based upon the general lack of action and interest I'm seeing from industry, and the knowlege that it takes between 3 and 7 years to build a facility, and everyone is thinking "2030s" so hmm. maybe by 2023 the world will wake up and act. In the meantime, CST is focusing on partnerships, broadening the uses for Co2, finding potential future consumers of Co2, so that they are well positioned for when the Carbon Capture "industry" gets rolling.

Did I miss anything? No one found it strange that companies, in Alberta at least, were willing to invest in a tech that would've allowed them to save about $2 per ton of CO2 this year? How about the savings with the much smaller RBP alluded to in January of 2017?
