CST Needs a Cannabis Angle FAST

CO2 can make cannabis grow more.  Simple.  Sign a deal in the sector as there is MONEY to pay for the technology as well as all these cannabis growers can claim they are doing good for the planet.  No similar big money in growing vegetables.  Go where the money and buzz is.

Yes - I agree completely. Any farm aspiring to be a year-round greenhouse operation could use an RPB unit to capture and reuse their own emissions from a natural gas or biomass heat source that would be used to keep the temperature of the green house up through the winter. Kind of like what this fellow in Nova Scotia is thinking of doing (hmm).... https://thechronicleherald.ca/business/1574867 ...more

I sent a email to Aurora about using CST for there green houses, they said they were thinking about it and the guy said he knew people at CST well. He used to work with them at Laval. But noting has happened yet.

If CST doesn't wake up to the cannabis opportunity fast, they will miss it.  Others will fill the void and establish themselves with growers.  I am sure that every other CO2 capture technology company is eyeing this market closely right now.

But all greenhouses need heat.  For that they burn natural gas.  So take the CO2 from the natural gas exhaust.

Green Houses, beer manufacturers, etc all have pressure vessels on site and have it hauled in now. So what would the difference be if it was hauled in from a smoke stack that CO2 Solutions was operating.

Because if they can get it cheaper from the exahaust with CST's technology than having to pay for tanks of CO2, then it becomes a financial decision.  And they can claim that they are green by recycling their own CO2.
