The Big DisappointmentWhat exactly is a Veren , should have changed the name years ago.Its been 9 years there abouts since Scott Saxburg and the board destroyed the $2.76 dividend and despite oil prices it still sits at about 16% of original levels. I can remember when every Fund Mgr on Market Call both recommended and said it was in their portfolios , So much for the Pros on Bay Street.The MGmt then and now has done nothing to support investor confidence , and no l was not an owner , but l admit l did own others in the sector.l have a firm fast rule , when everyone piles in , l avoid like the plague.Reading this board , over the years , there are stalwart long-term investors always preaching that CPG is destined for greatness.Their opinions and calls are a little Trite since this stock continues to under perform other than what Mgmt receives for doing very little to enhance shareholder value.
