RE: E&N Railway link and Raven to submit EA in Oct

"I've chosen to ask for the thing that is the most economical, the most environmentally sound, the most efficient, and the one with the most upside in the future, the rail."

Chris, your intentions are good I'm sure, but unfortunately, our government, actually all governments in the world don't work that way I'm afraid.

The recent global downturn has made things even worse and has given governments more reason to spend money on infrastructure to help keep the econcomies artificially afloat, IMO.

If you're looking for efficiency, I"m not sure the government is where you should be looking, lol.

Anyway, if the people have been hoping for the highway for years, then it's good for the government to build it.  If you can get the government to improve the rail, even better.

There's something I've learned and what I believe to be true. If someone, especially government, is willing to give something that will ultimately benefit you and/or the community you live in, then don't argue.....take it.  lol   JMO
