I think its similar to how a person would react if they were late for work and phoning their boss.  "yeah ill be 10 minutes".  When you know its more like 20.  Not always applicable, but some of us i'm sure have been there once or twice. 

It's going to come.   Just look at RIM for example....hahaha, they are finally releasing the BB10 this year, one year late.
