RE: RE: RE: No Rail No Coal Compromise?... You are simply out of touch 2guys. Anyone who disagrees with you gets attacked personally. You seem to have no interest in Compliance doing the project in a better way only that Compliance be allowed to do it anyway they want.
Can you even conceive of a scenario where Compliance would not be allowed to proceed with their project?
Ya, no rail no coal its a pretty un comprising way to ask for a compromise, but that is the unfortunate world we live in. Compliance and all other companies simply expect to be able to sweet talk their way around everything. Never mind that rail will be cheaper for them, it doesn't matter. Never mind that rail would benefit the whole Island rather than a dangerous new highway that might benefit one or two towns. What matters is that the political party in power is beholden to the truck lobby. That is the real politik here.
There are so many ways Compliance could be reaching out to the community rather than pushing them away or dangling "jobs" in front of them. Of course, that promise will probably unravel soon too since according to other prospective coal miners in BC 'there aren't enough underground coal miners', so they will have to bring in foreign workers for half the wage.
This is the reality 2guys. Compliance is doing nothing for these communities. It's take take take and give nothing back. All they are concerned about is their shareholders like you.
