RE:sink like a stoneWhat I don't understand where was the contingency planning? they knew the risk of delay and they should of had a plan for dealing with it at 6,  12 and 18 months beyond the original date, I think 4th quarter 2012. at each late point they could have figured out what they needed to get by and at what point they had to sell Copper Mtn. Delays should never be a surprise. Also, where was the quality control on the application? Is there not a way to compare the application to the government's format and fix it before the government has to point it out to them? This is where I feel Tapics failed. But on the other hand maybe getting the permit 1.5 to 2 years late is not as big a deal with the main Asian backers? There must be something the new boss can do to speed up the process.
