RE:Time to invest in green energy

RE:Time to invest in green energy
You have the right idea but 90% of the posters on these boards seem to be looking for momo plays and not long term high return value investments in my opinion. This is why so many fail at self-directed investing. There is no quick fix or easy money as some would believe. The value gained in investing is almost always through hard work, research and a high standard of due diligence. Solar, wind or carbon capture typen companies will be giants one day but its unlikely that joe retail will be invested for pennies and hold for the years it takes to grow these types of companies. Oil is ging to run dry one day, but before then its a good bet while you wait on your other green energy plays to grow. Flip profits into longer term plays that you can afford to sit on.
The monster that never dies seems to be health care. Society wants to live longer and the world is getting too populated. The emerging health care crisis may yet be in its infancy and there are many penny plays that are undiscovered. Look at how many penny health care plays are now in the multi-dollars in 2 or 3 short years. Its staggering!!
