Save Your Money

I have invested in a few dogs over the years, i.e. junior mining companies who promise the world and don't deliver.  Compliance falls into that category, partially from their arrogance and ineptitude, and in large part because thousands have rallied together to ensure that this project does not see the light of day.  I was told that even an AMEC engineer said that Raven is a 'bad project'.  The Ministry of Mines inspector stated that the Raven mine would be located in a bedrock aquifer, which is problematic because bedrock aquifers are unpredicatable.  This means that Compliance cannot guarantee that they won't poison the local watershed. It is not a good idea to build a coalmine in the heart of a community's watershed, and upstream of the largest shellfishery in the province.  It offends people's sensibilities to the point where law abiding citizens have vowed to go to jail if they need to to stop the project.  If you must invest in mining, at the very least invest in a mine that won't destroy a community and 600 sustainable shellfish jobs.  Compliance may state that they have deep pockets and they aren't going away, but we have deep convictions, strong hearts, and a love of our community, and we aren't going away either.
