curv's post:
"Robey According to the current MD&A posted on Sedar the numbers are as follows:
9,660,000 Measured and indicated Silver Equivalent @ current silver to gold ratio of 58 = 166,552 ounces! So counting just the measred and indicated we have way less than a 200k gold equivalent!
Let's be fair and use inferred as well though I like to call them pretend ounces until they are proven up! 1,570,000 Inferred Silver Equivalent ounces @ silver to gold ratio of 58 = 27,069 gold equivalent ounces! So we have a grand total of 193,621 big old gold equivalent ounces!"
Measured & Indicated
Ag equiv oz
9,660,000
Inferred
Ag equiv oz
7,290,000
Total Ag equiv oz
16,950,000
Gold equiv oz (58 to 1)
16,950,000 / 58 = 292,241 gold equiv oz

McBride’s NI 43-101 Report clearly states the following.
Net Assumptions:
Metal prices assumed were $30.00per ounce for silver and $1,500.00 for gold.
$1,500 / $30 = 50
50 to 1 silver to gold ratio
Gold equiv oz (50 to 1)
16,950,000 / 50 = 339,000 gold equiv oz

Your comment, again:
“This one is now a deposit of less than 200k ounces of gold equivalent some would now call this dead money!”
You are entitled to an opinion; however I must accept McBride’s statement in lieu of yours.
McBride’s Statement:
Dr. Derek McBride P.Eng, is convinced of the exploration potential at Nuevo Milenio. Dr. McBride P.Eng, has noted “Nuevo Milenio is a property of merit”.
That doesn't sound like 'dead money' to me.
Additionally, McBride mentions 6 targets worthy of drilling/identification as a basis for his statement.
My final comment:
IMO McBride was ultra conservative with his assessment and conclusions regarding the project. I believe it would be safe to increase estimates of resources by 30% to 35%. With that assumption the gold equiv ounces would be in excess of 400,000 gold equiv ounces.
