RE: RE: curv - Responding to Pinetree's Actions curv
I’m not feeling optimistic about reaching an open mind with this message, regardless I’ll say what I believe needs to be said.
Your Canadianinsider information regarding Pinetree was correct; as apposed to CNBC Financials information, (which was a couple of weeks behind on filing updates). Thank you.
It may seem silly to mention the following, but I’ll do so; Canadianinsider news has been posted and discussed here numerous times in the past. Scroll back through message history and you will also find that I was present during said discussion(s).
Judging from your reply, it may be a wasted effort to point out that the real meat of the issue was not limited to their share sales. Pinetree and its CEO, Sheldon Inwentash, have not been making very successful investment decisions and yet you sounded the alarm. IMO Pinetree’s selling of shares and those of Sheldon Inwentash, whether they were 4% combined or 8% is troubling, but, considering their record of late, should we, would we be wise to follow their actions? I don’t think so – I won’t ask, “Did you respond to their moves by selling CMA shares?”
My primary reason for responding to your message, (apart from the above) was your failure to recognize Sprott as a major investor. You really should stay up to date on the Company’s filings; within said filings you will find Sprott – Open the company’s Annual Report, (filed September 19, 2012) scroll to slide 54 of 121 and you will see Sprott is a major shareholder, (you will also see number of shares held).
