RE: jamieb3 - Linder on FE - RoBTV FEB 14Oh, when you said "I sell 1000 shares on opening and buy them back during the session", I thought you meant you sold them short at the open and then covered later in the day. I see now that you meant you sell the long position purchased the day before.
Personally, I've found trading income trusts far safer and more lucrative, as the yield tends to put a floor under the units (and you get the odd distro as a bonus). Of course, the Goodale Effect can be a bit unnerving, but I was a bit lucky with that episode and actually made good money from the volatility.
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. I can't believe I'm writing this, but ECA is actually starting to look interesting as well.
