CROPs share of the Nevada hemp harvest will be roughly 500,000 lbs (using 1340 acres not 1850, this asssumes they don’t get the rest of the land on pivot irrigation this year). At the lowest expected price of $27/ lb that’s $13.5 mil USD.  That’s almost half of today’s US market cap.  That also assumes they harvest 1000lb/acre when there’s a chance they could produce up to 3000lb/acre so ...more

Irie99 , how is a share price calculated vs the possible 2 to 3 times revenue, do you just multiply the current sp by 2 or 3x .

Thanks for sharing Irie. Where are you getting 500,000 lbs? They have 49% ownership in this venture I believe and growing 2.6 million pounds this year. I thought hey said 1850 acres would become on pivot in 2019? But from there post today they show 1,350. I would like to break this down more clearly if possible?

CROP has already sold 500,000lbs a year for the next three years.  From what I understand CROPs share of the entire harvest is 18.6% which is about 500,000 lbs of 2.6 million lbs.  that’s from 1340 acres.  Again from what I understand the additional 500 acres are not under pivot irrigation yet and may not be for the 2019 season.  This is based on my reading of the deep dives ...more

I do believe it is 49% as they aquired it after they realized how profitable it would be. Equity guru mentions always they have 49% in them so I believe it would be half of the hemp, you can see in the article below. I will double check when I call in a couple weeks. And there last crop was 3,000 healthy plants per acre so should come close to that again you would think? So all those numbers are ...more

I'd rather an estimate that under promises than one that over promises...  Over delivering will be far healthier for all invested.  thats my opinion of course but....

Of course but you want to be clear on everything. That is how you will be successful investing by having clarity, this gives you more certainty to make the right decision.

I don't work for crop and have a fulltime job so don't have time to crunch numbers, their accountants will give us answers shortly, audited year ends will be out after Q4's...  I forget the timeline but there are rules that dictate time limits so they will arrive in due time and all our questions will be answered

I think you’re right!!!  49% of 2.6mil lbs-5.5 mil lbs....    i also forgot they were turning all of the 2018 240 acres (240,000lbs) into CBD isolate. I can’t wait to see how much they’ll get for that!!  The going retail rate is $16.50/gram. Let’s assume they wholesale about half of the isolate and use the rest for Cannadrink and other proprietary products.  Using a ...more

Sorry I didn’t take into account how many lbs of hemp it takes to create a lb of CBD isolate.  My numbers in that last post are wrong.  Does anyone know what the avg hemp extraction ratio is when making CBD isolate?
Comment by Irie99 on Jan 09, 2019 4:32pm
Here’s a more realistic calculation of the 2018 hemp harvest.  A rough/conservative estimate is 50 lbs of isolate per acre of hemp. (Since we are growing high cbd hemp, not Industrial hemp, I think this number could be higher).    That’s 50 x 240 acres =12000 lbs of CBD isolate. Isolate is currently going for about $7500 per kilo x 5440 kgs (12000 lbs)= $40,800,000 usd.  I ...more
