I knew something was up when...

I knew something was up when my regional told us to get full payouts after we were told we could give the customers time to pay off their loc. I still refused to do full payouts and my regional was fine with that - I refused to keep my customers without, so what I just made them pay was what they would pay in brokerage if they had to redraw. I want to clarify that I don't agree with EVERYTHING the higher ups have done or are doing... I feel horrible for my 2 associates, I feel horrible for my customers when they need help. I want to make this clear, I do not feel sorry for the higher ups. I do know that just like any other company, not all front line staffers are told everything until it is said and done. I had an illness in my family a week or so after all this went down and my regional paid for me to be off for a week - which he didn't have to do. those are examples of how I was treated. My regional expressed his frustrations to us managers as well. Anyways, as managers, what do we do now?? wait until we are laid off so we get EI too?? like I said my age plays a huge factor in me finding other employment and starting over...

AT A LOSS! I knew what you meant! My regional became a very good friend but when push came to shove he was a company man although he was fantastic in a million other ways when the s@#t hit the fan it was clear where hestood!! We all had some good experiences but at the end of the day it came down to having such nice relationships with the customers and our collegues. The sad thing is I personally ...more

no need for an apology, but I thank you for that. I know at the end of he day why it appeared abrasive - you are frustrated more than anything and I get that. I guess I am not much of a worrier or anything due to the fact that I have overcame crisis many times and I just expect things to go the same way especially when it is out of my control lol. Yes we all do need to band together and have back ...more
