Corporate Action Notice Option 1 or 2 Deadline

Corporate Action Notice Option 1 or 2 Deadline Did anyone else get their notice from TD Direct Investing too late to meet the deadline of September 14, 2018 11:59 AM  Toronto time????

Option 1:  Unit consideration to recieve 0.5509 of exchangeable LP Unit for each common share of Enercare held.

Option 2:  Cash consideration (DEFAULT OPTION) to recieve $29.00 Cdn for each share of Enercare held.

I need the tax deferral big time - bought most of my ECI in 2009 and 2010.  Being told that they will fill my request on a "best effort basis" and not know if it gets done until September, 17, 2018 5:00 PM  Toronto time doesn't cut it.  Somebody screwed up somewhere.  Eight days for mail to get from Toronto to Vancouver?
