Why the rise in SP today on fairly heavy volume?  Is anyone here aware of any news?  My cost-based average is 0.11 so this went a long way in getting me to break even.

not a clue.  huge volume today.  no news that i know of, could be that the company is going to market for the employee bonus share plan.

Fabrice Taylor just recommended it today in his news letter. That could explain the volume. if you are a subscriber to fabrice taylor you shouldnt be posting his picks so soon after he does...does no justice to paying members... i will report this.

Fabrice Taylor mentioned it as an idea for tax loss pick in a newsletter saying it is a very attractive risk reward proposition and the most interesting tax loss candidates he has ever seen.

Nice to hear Fabrice is on-board.  Fabrice must think Cortex will get to profitability soon.  I got here based on Robert McWhirter's recommendation, and also because the company I work for uses Cortex (and the folks in our accounting department seem to like the software).

I'm sure Fabrice Taylor has had a proven track record, but the thoughts/ideas on Cortex are not that strong. Yes, oil prices are dropping and the downturn will happen, but that doesn't mean companies are jumping on board to change processes. Fact is, most Oil and Gas captial budgets that are already being axed, won't be keeping some extra money on the side for new IT initiatives ...more
