Potential present yet opportunity untaken?

WIth Calgary economy so down, the companies are reducing the number of its employees. This would increase the number of available workload by companies just like Cortex Business Solutions yet I feel as if Cortex is not able to benefit from this situation?

The company is now in rebuild/re-strategize mode. It is going to be a long while before anything good happens here again. They have squandered their window of opportunity and failed to captilize on the business model the way they should have. When Finning was sold it was an amazing chance to do what no one else was doing in this market. The people at the helm know little of what Cortex is really ...more

I think you are right. The other concern here is the current s/p being artificially supported by Lamacraft. How much longer will he be willing to add shares? They obviously intend to do a capital raise which will be challenging in the current economic environment.

Agreed - Finning was not delivered as promised, which is the issue with most of Cortex's projects, just talk to thier customers. The Field Ticket project never really got off the ground, and while they claim to have 'released' the product, it's barely functional, and was more of a marketing ploy...and about 2 years late in the market as there are a lot of players in that space ...more
