You're right Magic, but KMDC has failed once and now they're trying again. I'm thinking this is more about what is happening in Korea than what is happening with POP. If it's about saving face, I think they care a lot more about what the powers that be in Korea think, compared to what you and I consider fair play here in the Western world. For all we know they may be laughing at us already because they've doubled their money.
