The price of gold is hardly at the mercy of the US dollar any more. Sure if the dollar collapses, it will take more of them to but the gold. But a lot of people and "experts" keep pushing the narrative that the US and US sentiment influences the gold price today. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The price of gold is now in the hands of the billions of other people in the world
