Just spoke to John Clarke

I just called the Candax head office and was lucky enough to speak with John Clarke. He is very positive and upbeat and confirms all the information given about the progress with the drilling program on El Bibane. Production is imminent! Obviously he could not be too specific but his overtones were very positive indeed. If not for the weather related delays oil would be flowing already. He listed off the days there was no work possible due to weather and it was significant. I believe we are going to get a release anywhere from days to weeks announcing that oil is flowing. There was absolutely no indication that we were facing any additional delays and he read the current weather forecast which was favourable. I asked about chaal and the deep triassic plays and he was hopeful that both would be drilled during 2008. The only issue there is the availability of suitable drilling rigs. I am of the opinion that these guys are doing their best. They have alot more to gain by success then any of us retail investors and I felt very priveleged to speak with John. He told me that he doesn't normally speak directly to the retail investors so I thank him for the opportunity and so I thought it would be appropriate to share this conversation with all of you on this board. Patience patience patience. We are very close to the news we have all been waiting for so hang in there it won't be much longer now. I believe that all of us who have hung on to this story will be rewarded and the good news will start flowing with El Bibane oil. Good luck to all of us OceanRanger
