Update. It's a markup, meaning that the Senate committee will possibly make last minute amendments to the bill, then vote on them. Not the whole Senate voting, but the next best thing!

If the Senate Banking Committee approves then it will most likely pass the full senate vote. They generally don't advance things through committee stage if they don't have votes to get it passed on the floor of the senate. Also another piece of good news that doesn't get any notice. Nevada is still in the process of reviewing their approach to taxing wholesale cannibis
