Telco come along!!!!
Comment by Zorbing on Mar 07, 2018 9:41pm
And i dont think the Telco would have signed an NDA if they were just kicking the tires... this could be a game changer for DDB. Zorbing

Oh my heavens- The NDA means nothing to the Telco - it’s DDB protecting themselves if the Telco sees the product, doesn’t like it or it doesn’t work, they can’t disclose any information about what they’ve seen - really really standard stuff - come on

Can someone fill me in about this telco deal....Jan. 25th news release mentions a proof of product with major OEM. How did we narrow this down to a telco? How long can this proof of concept take? "Data Deposit Box is entering a proof of concept with a major international OEM to implement the software in its hardware solution offered to its business clients globally."

My guess - at least a calendar year - what people in here don’t realize is, it’s not plugging in a machine to see if it works - the telco will need sufficient time to see if the data storage is safe, reliable and practical for their business needs- DDB will also need time to pilot the tech, work out bugs and modify along the way - my company (over 7 thousand employees) took 2 years on a proof of ...more

So by your logic DDB entered into a NDA with a Major Canadian Telcom to pilot new tech and work out bugs... SMH.  Stupidity is too kind to describe this post.  TROLL HARDER NEXT TIME!!!

You’re lack of knowledge is really showing - a non-disclosure agreement protects both DDB and the telco - especially with data storage, the amount of sensitive information DDB would be dealing with from the telco, means that the Telco wants a legal document to protect their information - same with DDB - an NDA has nothing to do with a deal being finalized - it would be signed even before the ...more

It's almost impossible to know how long the NDA is as I'm sure that varies from agreement to agreement but guessing only could be anywhere from 3 - 6 months....  Keep in mind it's an Non Disclosure Agreement so no one knows any timelines for sure.  The way we narrowed this down to a Major Canadian Telco is by the NR from the company shown in the link below. https ...more

Cool story bro. Very informative. Turn knob to "High" and wait until water boils. Depending on strength of your stove and amount of water, the boiling time may vary. Note: DO NOT WATCH THE POT; it will never boil in the event that you do. Boiled water may be used for any number of applications. Serve hot but do not drink

FYI Tim has asked the Telco for disclosure before signing the contract and since it is not public, it means that the Telco keeps the NDA valid up to the signature of the contract with DDB. Once this contract is signed and known by the public, everybody will be very happy.... Anybody knows if th IR guy ahs been replaced?

My guess is Rogers for telco deal, anyone else?
Comment by RocketMan1979 on Mar 12, 2018 7:20am
I think it's either that or Bell Canada time will tell as the NDA with the major canadian telco was only mentioned a few months ago as I'm sure an agreement can go beyond 2 months but well find out who it is soon enough and how much $$$ said agreement is worth going forward :D
Comment by LongTbuffet on Mar 12, 2018 8:08am
My bet is Rogers also. They just increase their rates and they need to provide extra value. We should  hear something fairly soon. Just my view.
Comment by PennyToBuckGOD on Mar 12, 2018 9:45am
just curious what you'd consider 'fairly soon'?   a few months?
Comment by 123thebest on Mar 12, 2018 10:18am
People love to say April - In reality they only entered a proof of concept in January - my guess is end of 2018 for Telco Canada Deal - anyone that works in large corporation knows how long everything takes - that’s if there is a deal - nothing is guarneteed - unsure of UK / Europe deal timeline - people in here get mad at me for speaking against the “happening soon” expectation - but we’ve all ...more

true. proof of concept should take longer than a few months. end of year seems reasonable
