Shorts are scumbags but they do serve a useful purpose now and again in their miserable lives I suppose. They're getting this chased down but I doubt if they will get it down another 20 bucks. Even though I would like to see it get there, I would have a good laugh if they set themselves up for getting squeezed like a big juicy zit.

No way. Given the filings there is no way the Nasdaq would allow naked shorts. Shares are settling towards their true value.

Depends who you listen to I suppose. Some blame naked shorting and say it goes on all the time and others say no way. At one time in Canada for instance it used to be illegal and then that all changed years ago and the Venture Exchange and special interest groups like Save Canadian Mining with guys like Eric Sprott are lobbying government to make it illegal once again. Nothing on VMD because there's a holiday in the US in case you didn't know that also, and it only trades on the DAQ. And QIPT trades on the DAQ as well as the TSX so no trading in the states. Once complete he will cover the short when his warrants are exorcised, You can take it to the bank the few institutionals here have or are doing the same thing. The executive for DJT filed a complaint with Nasdaq in regards to unusual shorting activity.  The Nasdaq has an obligation to investigate those concerns and I believe they will and are doing so. It will be interesting if they file a report but I think it is just a case of more sellers than buyers.  For existing shareholders this imbalance is only going to worsen in the coming months when

Like it or not shorting is part of the market.  Naked shorts are illegal. Name me three stocks that got shorted into the ground where their fundamentals didn't deserve it.  Do you believe that the fundamental value of DJT deserves to be higher?
