The biggest risk factor I see presently in Douglas is that the success of the Company depends largely on one person, Mr. Harp Sangha. He is the sole person who has made several high level contacts within the Tanzanian government and negotiated a partnership with the Chinese. Should he leave the Company or get hit by the proverbial bus, a replacement will be hard to find and/or to bring up to speed on present operations. It seems very clear to me that Douglas needs an executive officer in North America to work corporate operations such as filing SEC documents on time. Douglas should also hire an operations manager for Tanzania with knowledge and a working relationship with their Chinese partners. Douglas Lake could be one of those rare investment opportunities where a return on capital could, in theory, exceed 1000% or more. The reason is that Mkuvia will be an easily mineable, low cost gold producing property with the potential of huge gold resources exceeding 5 million ounces or much more. Investors should be aware that gold exploration companies are the highest risk of the precious metal sector. At a market cap of under $22 million (@ share price of
.35), Douglas Lake represents an excellent risk to reward type of investment.
